What People Say About Us
"As I am entering my third year as a family provider, I am grateful for the knowledge Florence County First Steps FCCH/GCCH Grant has provided to me as I work to enhance and provide quality child care."
Denise Scott, Family Child Care Provider - Timmonsville, SC
“I have enjoyed being a part of DSS ARRA Family Child Care Grant over the past two years through Florence County First Steps. They have provided and given me support with technical assistance. The children look forward to Ms. Lana's visits as well as materials she brings with her each month. I am also thankful for the Network Association where I am able to meet other family and group child care providers and for the training classes FCFS offers. It is a GREAT program to be a part of and I invite all family or group child care providers to be a part of this wonderful opportunity!”
Beverly McClam, Family Child Care Provider - Coward, SC
Thank you First Steps for providing the exceptional means to improve my small business with small classroom enhancement grants, scholarships, mentoring, free business marketing, networking, free graduations to my students, provider of the year contests, critical trainings, your continued commitment and most important, validation. Thank you for validating family childcare as high quality and for recognizing and demonstrating that our profession is essential to the Pee Dee community when no one else would.”
